Chady M. AlAhmar
Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management
Chady M. AlAhmar joined Old National Bancorp in 2020 as its Chief Executive Officer, Wealth Management. Most recently, Mr. AlAhmar was a Senior Executive of Wealth Management at U.S. Bank. Prior to U.S. Bank, he held strategy, finance and management consulting positions with GMAC (Ally Bank) and ACG in New York. Mr. AlAhmar earned his electrical engineering degree from the American University of Beirut and he completed post-graduate studies in Strategy and Finance at ESCP Europe in Paris, France. Mr. AlAhmar is a strong community leader, holding multiple board memberships and engaging in multimillion-dollar fundraising campaigns for multiple organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Science Museum of Minnesota and Hill Museum & Manuscript Library at Saint John’s University.
Todd C. Clark
Chief Executive Officer, Community Banking
Todd C. Clark was promoted to Chief Executive Officer, Community Banking in 2020 having previously served as Executive Vice President-Chief Information & Strategic Innovation Officer since 2017 and as Region CEO since 2015 with responsibilities over the Company's Michigan market. He joined Old National in 2014 through the acquisition of United Bank and Trust where he most recently served as Region President. Mr. Clark worked at United Bank and Trust since 2000, most recently serving as President. Mr. Clark currently serves on the Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley Board of Directors as Treasurer and the Grow Michigan LLC Board of Managers. Mr. Clark has served on the following boards/organizations: The Washtenaw County Economic Development Coordination Committee, the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital Board of Trustees, the United Way of Washtenaw County Board of Directors, SOS Community Services, the Business Development Committee and CEO Roundtable of Ann Arbor SPARK.
Caroline J. Ellspermann
Chief People Officer
Caroline J. Ellspermann was promoted to Chief People Officer in 2020, having previously served as Chief Talent Management Officer. She was previously President and CEO of Wealth Management at Old National. Ms. Ellspermann joined Old National in 2001 as Manager of the Corporate Private Client Group. Ms. Ellspermann is a graduate of Indiana University. She attended Vanderbilt University’s executive management program and obtained her MBA. She is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. Ms. Ellspermann currently serves on the Welborn Baptist Foundation board of directors as vice chairperson and chairperson of the Governance Committee; the Community One board of directors; the Saint Benedict School Council; and the JDRF regional committee. She is active and has served as lay leader at her church, Methodist Temple.
Scott J. Evernham
Chief Risk Officer
Scott J. Evernham was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer of Old National Bancorp in 2019. He has been with Old National since 2003 and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Old National Wealth Management and previously as Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel. Mr. Evernham holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in finance from Purdue University and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. In addition, he is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the Wharton Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Evernham serves on the Boards of the United Way of Southwestern Indiana, the EVSC Foundation and St. Vincent-Ascension Evansville Foundation. He is chair of the Executive Board of TOUCH, Inc. and started Robin’s Nest Charitable Fund, both non-profit organizations that provide support to cancer patients and their families.
Brendon B. Falconer
Chief Financial Officer
Brendon B. Falconer was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Prior to this, he served as Treasurer, oversaw the Company's FDIC-assisted acquisition of Evansville-based Integra Bank, served as Director of Credit Operations and Director of Management Reporting. Prior to joining Old National in 2009, Mr. Falconer served as Controller of the Commercial Banking Division of Irwin Union Bank. Mr. Falconer earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kent State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University. Mr. Falconer serves on Ivy Tech's Board of Trustees in Evansville.
Dennis P. Heishman
Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Banking
Dennis P. Heishman was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Banking in 2020 having previously served as Region CEO of Old National Bank since 2006. Heishman joined Old National as President of its Louisville region in late 2003. Prior to joining Old National, Heishman had served for 20 years at Bank One Corporation, most recently as President and CEO of Bank One's Kentucky region. Mr. Heishman received his Bachelor’s Degree in economics from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana, and his Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Mr. Heishman has served as a member of the board of directors of Greater Louisville Fund for the Arts, Greater Louisville, Inc. (the Metro Chamber of Commerce), Indiana University Southeast, Junior Achievement, Louisville Downtown Development Corp., Louisville Housing Partnership, Louisville Metro Police Foundation, Louisville Science Center, Metro United Way, One Southern Indiana, University of Louisville CEO Council, and University of Louisville Athletic Association.
Paul S. Kilroy
Chief Information Officer
Paul S. Kilroy joined Old National Bancorp as its Chief Information Officer in 2020. Paul brings a wide array of IT expertise and leadership experience to his role, most recently serving as Segment CIO of Enterprise Shared Services at a super regional financial institution. Mr. Kilroy is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He serves as Board Chair for Riverview Academy School and is involved in the Pelotonia cycling event for Cancer Research.
Joan M. Kissel
Chief Auditing & Ethics Officer
Joan M. Kissel was named Executive Vice President, Chief Auditing and Ethics Officer of Old National Bancorp in 2017. A Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, Kissel joined Old National in 2005 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Corporate Controller a year later. Ms. Kissel is a graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Ms. Kissel serves on the Board of Trustees for the Vanderburgh Community Foundation.
Jeffrey L. Knight
Chief Legal Counsel
Jeffrey L. Knight is Executive Vice President and the Chief Legal Counsel for Old National Bancorp. Knight previously served as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel. He joined Old National in September 1993 as General Counsel. Mr. Knight is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Indiana State and Evansville Bar Associations. Mr. Knight received his Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Evansville in 1981. He is also a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis where he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence. Mr. Knight serves as a board member and Chairman of the Welborn Baptist Foundation, a board member of the Indiana Legal Foundation, a member of the Indiana Business Law Survey Commission, and he serves as a member of the Board of Visitors for the University of Evansville. He also serves as a board member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Indiana Bankers Association and is a board member of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Indiana Chamber Political Action Committee.
Daryl D. Moore
Chief Credit Executive
Daryl D. Moore is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Executive of Old National Bancorp. He was previously Executive Vice President since 2001, Senior Vice President from 1996 to 2001, Vice President from 1995 to 1996 and Chief Credit Officer. He also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of Merchants National Bank (Terre Haute) from 1993 to 1995. Mr. Moore holds the Credit Risk Certification designation from the Risk Managment Association. Mr. Moore is a past member of the banking industry’s Risk Management Association’s (RMA) National Credit and Risk Management Council, a past member of RMA’s National Consumer Risk Management Committee and has been published in the Risk Management Association’s Banking Journal. Mr. Moore is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in economics and the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking. Mr. Moore has also been active in the communities in which he has lived, serving on the boards of Rotary, the Rehabilitation Center, Ronald McDonald House Charities and others.
James C. Ryan III
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
James C. Ryan III is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Old National Bancorp and was appointed to its Board of Directors in May 2019. Previously, Mr. Ryan served as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Old National Bancorp and Director of Corporate Development and Mortgage Banking. He also served as Integration Executive for our Northern Region, as well as holding the positions of Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer for Old National Bancorp. Mr. Ryan holds a BA in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. Mr. Ryan is currently the Chairman of the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana, Vice Chairman of the Evansville Regional Business Committee, and Secretary and Treasurer of the Southwest Indiana Regional Development Authority. Mr. Ryan is also a member of the Board of Directors for Deaconess Hospital, Inc. and Deaconess Health Systems, Inc., member of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Inc., advisory board member for the Old National Bank Center for Closely Held Business, and advisory board member of the University of Evansville’s Schroeder Family School of Business Administration.
James A. Sandgren
President and Chief Operating Officer
James A. Sandgren was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in 2016. He has been with Old National Bank since 1992 and most recently served as Southern Region CEO. Mr. Sandgren holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from DePauw University and is an honors graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He also holds the Credit Risk Certification from the Risk Management Association. Mr. Sandgren is currently a board member for the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana (Past President), University of Southern Indiana Foundation, Southwest Indiana Chamber, St. Vincent Evansville(Chair), and Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center where he served as board president and the chair of their “Ensure the Future” capital campaign.
Kathy A. Schoettlin
Chief Brand & Culture Officer
Kathy A. Schoettlin was appointed Chief Brand & Culture Officer in 2020, having previously served as Chief Cultural Officer. Schoettlin was previously Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Old National Bancorp. Before coming to Old National in 2005, Schoettlin served for 15 years as Public Relations Director at the Southwestern Indiana Chapter of the American Red Cross. Ms. Schoettlin is a communications graduate from the University of Southern Indiana. Ms. Schoettlin is the 2010 recipient of the ATHENA Award. Ms. Schoettlin is currently serving as President of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana and serving as a board member for the Southwestern Indiana Mental Health Center, Public Education Foundation, and Indiana Youth Institute. She is a member of the leadership team for the Healthy Communities Partnership Committee and Tomorrow’s Workforce for Mater Dei and Memorial High Schools. In addition, she co-chairs the Business Diversity & Inclusion Roundtable, serves on the United Way Marketing Campaign Committee, the Athena Committee and the Indiana Youth Institute Fund Development Committee.
Roland B. Shelton
Chief Strategic Business Partnership Officer
Roland B. Shelton was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Strategic Business Partnership Officer in 2020. Prior to this, he served as Executive Business Development Officer. Prior to joining Old National in 2017, Mr. Shelton served as Senior Vice President of Constituent Relations at Indiana State University. Mr. Shelton also worked at Park University as the Associate Vice President for Advancement and was also a Superintendent/Business Manager at General Motors. Mr. Shelton earned a bachelor’s degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Western Kentucky University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Park University. Mr. Shelton serves on the Ivy Tech Foundation Board of Directors, is Board Secretary for the Mid-States Minority Development Council and also serves on the Kentucky Wesleyan University Board of Trustees, the Terre Haute Board of Public Works, and the State of Indiana Workforce Development Board.
Kendra L. Vanzo
Chief Administrative Officer
Kendra L. Vanzo was appointed Chief Administrative Officer in 2020, having previously served as Executive Vice President - Chief People Officer. Vanzo was previously Senior Vice President - Chief Human Resources Officer. She has been with Old National since 1994. Ms. Vanzo is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor's in business administration. She earned her MBA from the University of Southern Indiana and has earned the Senior Professional Human Resources certification. She is a past board president of the Arts Council of Southwest Indiana, and past board vice-president for Tales & Scales. Currently, she serves as a board member of ECHO Community Healthcare and board member of Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District. She is a past board member of Southwestern Healthcare. She is also a volunteer for United Way and has been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Andrew E. Goebel
Andrew E. Goebel has been a Director of the company since 2000. He is an independent director of the company and is an 'Audit Committee Financial Expert' as defined by the SEC. Mr. Goebel retired as President and COO of Vectren Corporation, an energy holding company, following a 34-year career in the energy industry. He is currently a financial and management consultant. Mr. Goebel brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, including a 34-year career in the energy industry. He also has significant experience as a senior executive of a large public company and significant experience in finance. Mr. Goebel holds a BSBA and an MBA from the University of Evansville. He serves a s a director of two privately-held companies headquartered in Southwest Indiana, including South Central, Inc. and the Community Natural Gas Company, Inc. He also serves as a director of Indiana-American Water Company. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Evansville and serves in leadership positions for several other nonprofit and civic organizations.
Jerome F. Henry Jr.
Jerome F. Henry Jr was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in June 2014 and is an independent director of the company. He is the Owner and President of Midwest Pipe & Steel. Mr. Henry is also President of Paragon Tube Corporation as well as Hartzell Realty Corporation. Mr. Henry is a life-long entrepreneur with ownership interest in numerous business enterprises including start-ups and recent turnarounds. Mr. Henry brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, including extensive experience in management and finance as well as 15 years serving on the Board of Directors of Tower Bank and Trust. Mr. Henry has been active throughout his business career in various philanthropic activities and has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations. He is currently active with Bishop Luers High School, St. Anne Home, St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Fort Wayne Urban Enterprise Association Board.
Daniel S. Hermann
Daniel S. Hermann was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in January 2020 and is an independent director of the company. He is the founding partner of Lechwe holdings LLC and is also a founder of AmeriQual Group, LLC, where he served as CEO from 2005 to 2015. Mr. Hermann also brings to the Board over 20 years of management experience with Black Beauty Coal Company, where he served in various positions, including President and CEO. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and is deemed to be an 'Audit Committee Financial Expert' as defined by the SEC. Mr. Herman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana State University. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Deaconess Health Systems. In addition, he serves as a director of Foresight Energy, General Signals, Hermann Family Foundation, and Foundation for Youth.
Ryan C. Kitchell
Ryan C. Kitchell was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in January 2018 and is an independent director of the company. He is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Indiana University Health where he previously served as Chief Financial Officer since 2012. Mr. Kitchell is deemed to be a 'Financial Expert' as defined by rules set forth by the SEC. Mr. Kitchell holds an economics degree from Indiana University, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He serves on several boards, including the Indiana Sports Corporation, Boy Scouts of America Crossroads Council, the Indiana Motorsports Commission, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America board and the 2021 NBA All-Star Game Board of Directors.
Phelps L. Lambert
Phelps L. Lambert has been a Director since 1990 and is an independent director of the company. He is a Managing Partner with Lambert and Lambert, an investment company. Mr. Lambert served as CEO of Farmers Bank & Trust Company in Henderson, Kentucky from 1978 to 1992. Mr. Lambert brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, financial and legal expertise including his experience with Farmers Bank & Trust. Mr. Lambert holds a BA in Political Science from Brown University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association.
Austin M. Ramirez
Austin M. Ramirez was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in January 2020 and is an independent director of the company. He is the President and CEO of Husco International, a global engineering and manufacturing company. Mr. Ramirez brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, including management experience in the engineering and manufacturing business. He has also served as a White House Fellow in the National Economic Council in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ramirez graduation from the University of Virginia with degrees in Systems Engineering and Economics. He also holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has also volunteered on a number of education-focused board including Teach for America, the Boys and Girls Clubs, the YMCA and the United Performing Arts Fund. He is a co-founder and board member of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy and a founding member of City Reformed Church.

Thomas E. Salmon
Thomas E. Salmon was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in January 2018 and is an independent director of the company. He is Chairman and CEO of Berry Global, Inc. where he was appointed to the Board of Directors in February 2017. Mr. Salmon previously served as Berry Global's President and Chief Operating Officer since 2016. Mr. Salmon brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, including over 20 years in manufacturing which as provided him with extensive experience in management, accounting and finance. Mr. Salmon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Saint Bonaventure University in Western New York. He serves on several boards, including the Evansville Regional Business Committee, Golf Gives Back and Signature School.
Randall T. Shepard
Randall T. Shepard was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in July 2012 and is an independent director of the company. Mr. Shepard retired in March 2012 after serving on the Indiana Supreme Court for 27 years. Mr. Shepard brings many skills and qualifications to the Board, including his experience of a career in public sector management as well as extensive leadership in the non-profit world. Mr. Shepard earned an A.B. degree cum laude from Prince University, his J.D. from the Yale Law School, and an LL.M. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Shepard's leading avocation has been historic preservation. He was a trustee of the National Trust for Historic Preservation for eleven years and served as Chairman of Indiana Landmarks, Inc.
Rebecca S. Skillman
Lead Director
Rebecca S. Skillman was appointed Lead Director of Old National Bancorp in 2016 and has served as an independent director of the company since June of 2013. Ms. Skillman serves as President and CEO of Radius Indiana, an economic development company for South Central Indiana. Prior to that Ms. Skillman served as Lt. Governor of the State of Indiana for eight years. Ms. Skillman brings to the board expertise and leadership in economic development, administration, community involvement, governmental and political affairs and civil service. Ms. Skillman earned an Associate's degree/business concentration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Ms. Skillman currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Radius Indiana. She serves as an advisor for Bowen Center for Public Affairs, Ball State University, and an advisor for Indiana University's Center for Rural Engagement.
Derrick J. Stewart
Derrick J. Stewart was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in June 2015 and is an independent director of the company. He serves as the President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and previously served as the CEO of the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana since 2009. Mr. Stewart brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, including prior banking experience as a loan officer for the Company and extensive experience in managing a nonprofit entity in one of the Company's largest markets. Mr. Stewart is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a degree in Business and Finance. Mr. Stewart is deeply committed to supporting and encouraging the development of a healthier and more vibrant community and providing opportunities for young people. He has served in leadership positions on various boards focused on achieving this mission.
Katherine E. White
Katherine E. White was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in 2015 and is an independent director of the company. Ms. White is a Professor of Law at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan and a Brigadier General in the U.S. Army National Guard currently serving as the Deputy Commander of the 46 Military Police Command in Lansing, MI. Ms. White brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, including her extensive experience in law, education, government and military affairs. Ms. White received her B.S.E. Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Princeton University, a J.D. Degree from the University of Washington, a LL.M. Degree from the George Washington University Law School, and a Master's Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. Ms. White is a Regent with the University of Michigan Board of Regents.
Linda E. White
Linda E. White was appointed to the Old National Bancorp Board of Directors in 2008 and is an independent director of the company. She previously had served on the Community Board of Old National Bank's Southern Region, located in Evansville, Indiana. Ms. White serves as the CEO of Methodist Health. Ms. White is President Emerita for Deaconess Health System, Inc. and Executive Director of the Deaconess Foundation. She previously served as President and CEO of Deaconess Health System and has served as an administrator at Deaconess since 1985. Ms. White brings to the Board many skills and qualifications, including her extensive experience in management and leadership in the healthcare industry. Ms. White holds a BS in Nursing and an MBA from the University of Evansville, and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Indiana State University. Ms. White is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Club and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Evansville and Rose-Hulman Institutive of Technology.
